The Talent Care Center of the Yemen International Agency for Development (YIAD) hosted a training course organized by the “Tadqiq” platform, titled “Basics of Information Verification.” The course targeted journalists, journalism students, and content creators, focusing on providing participants with essential skills to verify the accuracy of information in their respective fields.
Throughout the course, several key topics were covered, including how to verify news and images using modern digital tools, analyzing sources and content, as well as understanding the mechanisms for detecting false and misleading information. The course aimed to empower participants to enhance the quality of the content they produce and increase the transparency and accuracy of the information presented to the public.
At the end of the course, participants expressed their great benefit from the skills acquired, emphasizing the importance of information verification in the age of rapid content dissemination online. This course is part of a series of training programs aimed at promoting media literacy and developing journalism and content creation skills, contributing to more reliable and accurate content.
