Towards Broader Cooperation… Meeting Between Yemen International Agency for Development and Qatar Charity

As part of efforts to strengthen developmental relations and explore opportunities for joint cooperation, the President of the Yemen International Agency for Development, Dr. Abduragib Ubad, paid an official visit to the headquarters of Qatar Charity in the Qatari capital, Doha. He was received by Mr. Nawaf Al-Hammadi, Assistant CEO of International Operations and Programs at Qatar Charity.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects for partnership and ways to coordinate efforts in implementing humanitarian and development programs that address the priorities of Yemeni society and improve the living conditions of the most vulnerable groups. Possible areas of cooperation in key sectors such as education, health, and economic empowerment were also reviewed, with the aim of enhancing the sustainability of projects and achieving tangible impact in the lives of beneficiaries.

The President of the Yemen International Agency for Development affirmed that this visit is part of the agency’s strategy to strengthen effective partnerships with regional and international institutions, noting that cooperation with a leading organization such as Qatar Charity represents an important step towards expanding the scope of programs and projects that serve Yemenis and meet their increasing humanitarian and developmental needs.

For his part, Mr. Nawaf Al-Hammadi welcomed the agency’s visit, stressing Qatar Charity’s keenness to strengthen partnerships with various humanitarian organizations in order to achieve common goals that serve the most affected communities, particularly the Yemeni people.

This visit reaffirms the commitment of the Yemen International Agency for Development to building strategic relations with different institutions, and to expanding areas of cooperation to achieve shared objectives that serve society and foster its development.
