Signing a partnership and cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Education

“Today in Marib, an agreement for partnership and cooperation was signed between the Yemeni International Development Agency and the Education Office in the governorate. The agreement outlines the implementation of an alternative school in the Sky neighborhood of Marib, in the Al-Kasara area, consisting of five classrooms along with accompanying facilities, furnished and equipped with all educational necessities.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Ali Al-Abab, Deputy Minister of Education and Director of the Education Office in the governorate, and the Executive Director of the Yemeni International Development Agency, Dr. Abdul Salam Mohammed Al-Salami. The signing ceremony was attended by Eng. Abdullah Al-Aqeeli, Director of the Public Works Office, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Bakri, Deputy Director of the Education Office, Mr. Abdullah Shaddad, Project Management Director, and Mr. Yaser Al-Haidari, Organizations Coordinator from the office. On behalf of the agency, Dr. Jamal Qahtan, Project Director, and Dr. Abdullah Al-Jouri, Director of Alliances and Partnerships, were also present.

This project is one of the developmental initiatives carried out by the Yemeni International Development Agency to contribute to improving the educational process in displacement camps hosting thousands of internally displaced persons outside Marib governorate. It aims to create a suitable environment for displaced children, enabling them to continue their education at the primary level according to the standards and supervision of the Ministry of Education.”
