The Ministry of Education in Al-Jawf signed an agreement with the Yemeni International Development Agency to construct three schools for displaced persons

“The Director of the Education Office in Al-Jawf, Dr. Mohammed Saleh Mohsen, and the Director of the Yemeni International Development Agency, Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Salami, signed an agreement at the agency’s headquarters in Marib for the handover of the sites for the mobile schools project for displaced persons in the camps located in the Rayyan area, east of Al-Jawf Governorate.

The project includes the construction of three schools, each containing four classrooms equipped with school furniture, school administration facilities, and bathrooms. It is expected that 1,200 students, who have been deprived of education for three years since the displacement wave that occurred in Al-Jawf in early March 2020, will benefit from the schools.”
