Yemen International Agency for Development Signs Contract to Build Noura Al-Obeid Health Center for Maternity and Maternal Care in Marib

As part of efforts to enhance health services in Marib Governorate, the Yemen International Agency for Development, represented by the Executive Director of its office in Yemen, Dr. Abdulsalam Al-Salami, signed a contract with the Marib Health Office, headed by Dr. Ahmed Al-Abadi, to establish the Noura Al-Obeid Health Center for maternity and maternal care.

The project is funded by the Kuwaiti Tanmiah Charity Foundation, and the center will be built east of Marib Airport. The project aims to provide comprehensive health services to over 2,000 beneficiaries monthly, as part of the agency’s ongoing efforts to improve maternal and child services in the region. The center aims to contribute to reducing maternal and child mortality rates, in addition to promoting health awareness among pregnant women in Marib.

This center is a significant step toward achieving the Yemen International Agency for Development’s goals of enhancing healthcare in affected areas, ensuring the improvement of health living standards for local communities.
