Yemen International Agency for Development Receives the Land for the Noura Al-Obaid Health Center Project in Marib

In a significant step towards enhancing health services in Yemen, the Yemen International Agency for Development has received the land for the Noura Al-Obaid Health Center Project in Marib province, which aims to provide specialized medical services for maternity care and support for pregnant women. This project is a major contribution to improving healthcare for women and children in the region.

This move is part of the ongoing collaboration between the Yemen International Agency for Development and Al-Tanmia Charity Foundation from Kuwait, which has generously supported the project. The construction work for the health center is set to begin soon. The land handover ceremony was attended by Dr. Ahmed Al-Abadi, Director of the Health Office in Marib, who praised the importance of the project in strengthening health services for mothers and newborns in the province. He emphasized that the project will contribute to improving overall healthcare and help reduce maternal and child mortality rates in the region.

Dr. Al-Abadi further noted that the project will enhance the health system’s capacity in Marib by providing modern and appropriate medical services for pregnant women and postnatal care. Representatives of the Yemen International Agency for Development also commended the significant role of the Al-Tanmia Charity Foundation in supporting humanitarian and development projects in Yemen, reiterating the agency’s continued commitment to improving health services in Yemen and meeting the medical needs of the community amidst the current challenges.
