As part of efforts to strengthen humanitarian and development partnerships, Dr. Abdelraqib Abbad, President of the Yemen International Agency for Development, received a delegation from Al-Rahma International Charity at the agency’s headquarters in Turkey. The delegation included Dr. Jamal Al-Razi, Director of Al-Rahma International Charity’s office in Turkey, and Engineer Firas Basmahji, Director of the Projects Department at Al-Rahma Global Foundation.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways of mutual cooperation in implementing humanitarian and development projects aimed at supporting the most vulnerable groups. The discussions also focused on expanding strategic partnerships to enhance work in the education, health, and economic empowerment sectors, contributing to sustainable development.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties emphasized the importance of strengthening relations and continuing joint work to achieve humanitarian goals that serve and support local communities.

Funded by the Ektaa Endowment, the Yemen International Agency for Development has implemented a project to support small and micro enterprises in Yemen. This project is part of the agency’s efforts to promote economic empowerment and contribute to achieving sustainable development goals.

The project aims to provide financial and technical support to owners of small and micro enterprises by offering easy loans and training programs designed to develop their skills and improve the quality of their products and services. Through this initiative, the agency seeks to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in Yemen, create new job opportunities, and improve the living standards and income of beneficiary families.

Yemen International Agency for Development aims, through this project, to create an enabling environment for the growth of small businesses and provide the necessary support for beneficiaries to achieve success and sustainability in their ventures. This initiative is part of the agency’s strategy to enhance economic and social development in Yemen and achieve economic balance in various regions of the country.

Funded by the Global Mercy Association, Yemen International Agency for Development has implemented a project to distribute solar energy systems to 100 homes in Yemen. This initiative is part of the agency’s efforts to enhance economic empowerment and improve the quality of life for targeted families, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals. These systems contribute to providing clean and sustainable energy, alleviating the economic burden on families, and improving living conditions amidst the economic and environmental challenges facing Yemen.
